Intro

Armor is available for Head, Upper Armor (U-Armor), Gloves, Lower Armor (L-Armor) and Boots.
You can also wear Cloaks/Capes and use a Shield.
Mages can wear Robes but can't wear Lower Armor with a Robe.

Armor is divided into Light, Light-Heavy and Heavy.

All jobs can use normal Light and Light-Heavy armor.
Only Fighters and Craftors can use Heavy armor.

Most semi-rare armor is restricted to certain jobs.
Semi-rare shields and most Semi-rare cloaks are not job restricted.
Mages also get special semi-rare Cloaks.

All socket armor is restricted to specific jobs.
Shields and Cloaks never have sockets.
Socket armor can be combined with Core Machines.

Normal Armor

Normal Light and Normal Light-Heavy armor is wearable by all jobs.
Normal Heavy armor is only wearable by Fighters and Craftors.
Robes can only be worn by Mages.

Armor by Job

Fighters can use Normal Heavy armor.
Warriors and Weapon Masters can use Semi-Rare and Socketed Light-Heavy armor.
Defenders and Paladins are the only jobs that can use Semi-Rare and Socketed Heavy armor.

Cloaks

Cloaks come in Normal and Semi-Rare types.
Semi-Rare Cloaks for Fighters, Craftors and Rogues add to Max Stamina.
Semi-Rare Cloaks for Mages add to Max MP and have a higher level requirement.
